  11. To those of you who are all having trouble getting your flashrom updates,
  12. just *call* US Robotics.  I called them up (1-800 tollfree).  I gave them
  13. my serial number.  I was put through to a tech-support guy.  He emailed
  14. me the 1/23/96 USRDLL.EXE file...I had it within a few minutes.  He first
  15. offered to call my modem and do it or something, but I didn't have my modem
  16. with me, and I wanted the file (I have several modems I want to do all.)

  18. All in all...those of you email'ing or whatever USR - you might just give
  19. them a call.  Yes, they should answer their email, and yes, they should have
  20. the latest on their FTP/Web sites.  And just being nice on the phone when
  21. I call them up doesn't excuse their lack of having the file on their
  22. public access sites.  But bottom line, a quick free call, and I had my
  23. USRDLL within 10 minutes.

  25. Those of you out there may want to give that a try :)
  26. Beats the heck out of complaining here, or emailing them and not getting a
  27. response :)
